A few spots will be available on the day of the event, but it's best to sign up now to reserve your seat in class! Plus if you register before the event, the cost of festival admission is included in the price. Advanced payment is required.

Photo transfer - wood ornaments
In this workshop, you will learn how to make a photo transfer onto wooden ornaments. The process does not create a perfect image, but one with antique-style edges and an organic, handmade feel. Great gift for the holidays. Please email THREE HIGH RES digital images to Sarah Annay one week before the workshop. Sarah will need to edit these images (and flip them) in Photoshop before the workshop begins to save time. You will leave with an appreciation for photo transfer methods and three, wood hanging ornaments for gifts or yourself. Suggested for mature makers. Festival admission included in workshop price.

Cocktail hour with the honey truck, st augustine distillery + chopshop
Join the Honey Truck Company for a special Cocktail Hour at Makers Fest. This is a hands on class to get you excited and prepared for holiday entertaining while showing you how easy it is to dress up any dish or drink with a little dash of Hyper-Local Honey. Learn to create Honey Infused Craft Cocktails with St. Augustine Distillery Spirits and a Honey inspired charcuterie board with fine meats and cheeses from the Chop Shop. Will you get to drink these cocktails? Absolutely! Will you be able to eat the delicious selection of meat and cheese? Of course! Seating is limited so be sure to reserve your spot before they're all gone. We look forward to seeing you all soon. Workshop includes festival admission (Must be 21 or older to participate)

Winter wreath making with brandi williams of feather+bloom
Learn how to make an asymmetrical hoop wreath in this workshop with Brandi from Feather + Bloom...Brandi will teach you basic construction techniques while using a variety of ingredients from foraged cedar to eucalyptus. Please bring a pair of pruners to the workshop as well as any special items foraged or bought that you would like to add to your wreath(think ribbon, a found feather, etc...). Suggested for mature makers. Festival admission included in workshop price.

Watercolor Workshop with Jenny Bookhout of Lemonlark Paperie
Are you interested in experimenting with watercolors? This workshop is open to everyone, whether you have experience with watercolors, or the last time you let your creative side free was art class in school. We’ll be painting a wreath and you have the choice of making it festive for the holidays, or keeping it more generic to be displayed year round. You also have the option to paint a word, name or monogram inside your wreath — so start thinking about what you’d like do! Sizing options will be 6x6, 6x9 or 9x12. We will go over some watercolor techniques and tips, as well as some ideas on how you can display your new piece of art! Includes price of admission to the festival. Beginners class. Suggested for mature makers. Festival admission included in workshop price.
